Chris Singleton (Christopher Verdell Singleton) was born on August 15, 1972 in Martinez, California. He made his Major League debut on April 10, 1999 for the Chicago White Sox. In 1999, his rookie year, he hit .300 with 17 home runs and 72 RBI. Singleton played for the Chicago White Sox, Baltimore Orioles, Oakland Athletics and Tampa Bay Devil Rays over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that Chris Singleton's best season was 1999, when he slugged 17 home runs, hit for a .300 average and knocked in 72 runs.
