Chris Matau (Christopher Volaga Matau) was born on January 22, 1964 in Torrance, California. After going to high school at Carson (CA), Matau attended Brigham Young University and Long Beach City College. Matau made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the Los Angeles Rams for his entire 1 year career.
