Chico Salmon (Ruthford Eduardo Salmon) was born on December 3, 1940 in Colon, Panama. He made his Major League debut on June 28, 1964 for the Cleveland Indians. In 1964, his rookie year, he hit .307 with 4 home runs and 25 RBI. Salmon played for the Cleveland Indians and Baltimore Orioles over the course of his 9 year career.
