Chet Kozel (Chester R. Kozel) was born on October 15, 1919 in Kenosha, Wisconsin. After going to high school at Kenosha (WI), Kozel attended the University of Mississippi. Kozel made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1947 with the Buffalo Bills. He played for the Chicago Rockets and Buffalo Bills over the course of his 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1947 was Chet Kozel's best year.
