Chet Brooks (Terrance Donnell Brooks) was born on January 1, 1966 in Midland, Texas. After going to high school at David W. Carter (Dallas, TX), Brooks attended Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University. Brooks made his professional debut in the NFL in 1988 with the San Francisco 49ers. He played for the San Francisco 49ers for his entire 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1989 was Chet Brooks's best year, as he picked off 3 passes.
