Chet Adams (Chester Frank Adamczyk) was born on October 24, 1915 in Cleveland, Ohio. After going to high school at South (Cleveland, OH), Adams attended Ohio University. Adams made his professional debut in the NFL in 1939 with the Cleveland Rams. He played in the NFL for 6 years, playing for the Cleveland Rams, New York Yanks and Green Bay Packers over the course of his 6 year NFL career.Adams also played in the AAFC for 4 years, playing for the Cleveland Browns and Buffalo Bills over the course of his 4 year AAFC career.

Most people believe that 1946 was Chet Adams's best year, as he ran back an interception for a touchdown.
