Charlie Starr (Charles Watkin Starr) was born on August 30, 1878 in Pike County, Ohio. He made his Major League debut on April 29, 1905 for the St. Louis Browns. In 1909, his rookie year, he hit .219 with 0 home runs and 6 RBI. Starr played for the St. Louis Browns, Pittsburgh Pirates and Boston Doves over the course of his 3 year career.
