Charlie O'Brien (Charles Hugh O'Brien) was born on May 1, 1960 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He made his Major League debut on June 2, 1985 for the Oakland Athletics. In 1989, his rookie year, he hit .234 with 6 home runs and 35 RBI. O'Brien played for the Oakland Athletics, Milwaukee Brewers, New York Mets, Atlanta Braves, Toronto Blue Jays, Chicago White Sox, Anaheim Angels and Montreal Expos over the course of his 15 year career.
