Born on March 25, 1862 in San Francisco, California, Charlie Geggus (Charles Frederick Geggus) played for the Washington Nationals for his entire 1 year career. Geggus broke into the bigs on August 7, 1884 with the Washington Nationals, and put up a 2.54 ERA in 177.1 innings pitched in 1884, his rookie year.
