Charlie Brueckman (Charles William Brueckman) was born on November 23, 1935 in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Stowe (McKees Rocks, PA), Brueckman attended the University of Pittsburgh. Brueckman made his professional debut in the NFL in 1958 with the Washington Redskins. He played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the Washington Redskins the entire time. Brueckman also played in the AFL for 1 year, playing for the Los Angeles Chargers the entire time.
