Charley Young (Charles Lee Young) was born on October 13, 1952 in Raleigh, North Carolina. After going to high school at Enloe (Raleigh, NC), Young attended North Carolina State University. Young made his professional debut in the NFL in 1974 with the Dallas Cowboys. He played for the Dallas Cowboys for his entire 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1975 was Charley Young's best year.
