Charley Seabright (Charles Edward Seabright) was born on February 13, 1918 in McMechean, West Virginia. After going to high school at Union (Benwood, WV), Seabright attended West Virginia University. Seabright made his professional debut in the NFL in 1941 with the Cleveland Rams. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Rams over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that 1947 was Charley Seabright's best year, as he picked off 3 passes and ran back an interception for a touchdown.
