Charley Mehelich (Charles J. Mehelich) was born on August 4, 1922 in Oakmont, Pennsylvania. Mehelich attended Duquesne University. Mehelich made his professional debut in the NFL in 1946 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 6 year career.
Most people believe that 1946 was Charley Mehelich's best year.
