Charley Eikenberg (Charles Virgil Eikenberg) was born on February 22, 1924 in Old Gulf, Texas. After going to high school at Boling (TX), Eikenberg attended Rice University. Eikenberg made his professional debut in the NFL in 1948 with the Chicago Cardinals. He played for the Chicago Cardinals for his entire 1 year career.
