Carolina @ Green Bay - hope springs eternal

Green Bay should be able to maintain their lead in the NFC North this Sunday against my Panthers. At 'only' 9 and 1/2 point favorites, it's not looking good for the Black Cats.
Some good news is that the Panthers appear to have three healthy quarterbacks once again, but there is no word as to if Vinny Testaverde or David Carr will start. I have mixed feelings. Personally, I prefer Vinny over David. He has been consistant in getting the ball to receivers, and he knows how to make good decisions in the pocket. Not saying that David does not make good decisions, but his ability to get the ball to the receivers consistantly is just not there. I don't know if it's nerves or his arm, but it's just not happening. But no matter which QB is out there I still fear for their safety.
A few days ago the Charlotte Observer had an article asking if Matt Moore should start. Officially, the Panthers are still in the heat of the NFC South - and putting Moore in would be seen as a sign that the team is throwing in the towel for the rest of the season.
Come Monday, the Panthers could be 2 games back, with only six games left to play. Then again, they could be in a dead heat for first. I am praying for the latter, but keeping my hopes and dreams here on Earth for the time being.
