Carl Peterson (Carl John Peterson) was born on March 26, 1897 in Salt Lake City, Utah. After going to high school at Bethany Academy (Lindsborg, KS), Peterson attended the University of Nebraska. Peterson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1924 with the Kansas City Blues. He played for the Kansas City Blues for his entire 1 year career.
