Carl Banks (Carl E. Banks) was born on August 29, 1962 in Flint, Michigan. After going to high school at Beecher (Flint, MI), Banks attended Michigan State University. Banks made his professional debut in the NFL in 1984 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants, Cleveland Browns and Washington Redskins over the course of his 12 year career.
Most people believe that 1987 was Carl Banks's best year, as he recorded 9 sacks.
