Cal Broughton (Cecil Calvert Broughton) was born on December 28, 1860 in Magnolia, Wisconsin. He made his Major League debut on May 2, 1883 for the Cleveland Spiders. Broughton played for the Cleveland Spiders, Baltimore Orioles, Milwaukee Grays, St. Louis Browns, New York Metropolitans and Detroit Wolverines over the course of his 4 year career.
