Bud Sharpe (Bayard Heston Sharpe) was born on August 6, 1881 in West Chester, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on April 14, 1905 for the Boston Beaneaters. In 1905, his rookie year, he hit .182 with 0 home runs and 11 RBI. Sharpe played for the Boston Beaneaters, Pittsburgh Pirates and Boston Doves over the course of his 2 year career.
