Born on October 7, 1932 in Orange, California, Bud Daley (Leavitt Leo Daley) played for the Cleveland Indians, Kansas City Athletics and New York Yankees over the course of his 10 year career. Daley broke into the bigs on September 10, 1955 with the Cleveland Indians, and put up a 4.43 ERA in 87.1 innings pitched in 1957, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Bud Daley's best season was 1959, when he posted a 3.16 ERA, won 16 games and struck out 125 batters.
