Bucky Richardson (John Powell Richardson) was born on February 7, 1969 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. After going to high school at Broadmoor (Baton Rouge, LA), Richardson attended Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University. Richardson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1992 with the Houston Oilers. He played for the Houston Oilers for his entire 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1994 was Bucky Richardson's best year.
