[edit] Biography

Bucky Harris (Stanley Raymond Harris) was born on November 8, 1896 in Port Jervis, New York. He made his Major League debut on August 28, 1919 for the Washington Senators. In 1920, his rookie year, he hit .300 with 1 home run and 68 RBI. Harris played for the Washington Senators and Detroit Tigers over the course of his 12 year career.
