Bucky Brooks (William Eldridge Brooks, Jr.) was born on January 22, 1971 in Raleigh, North Carolina. After going to high school at Millbrook (Raleigh, NC), Brooks attended the University of North Carolina. Brooks made his professional debut in the NFL in 1994 with the Buffalo Bills. He played for the Oakland Raiders, Kansas City Chiefs, Jacksonville Jaguars and Buffalo Bills over the course of his 4 year career.

Most people believe that 1996 was Bucky Brooks's best year, as he had 412 kick return yards.
