Born on August 29, 1909 in Tarboro, North Carolina, Buck Marrow (Charles Kennon Marrow) played for the Detroit Tigers and Brooklyn Dodgers over the course of his 3 year career. Marrow broke into the bigs on July 3, 1932 with the Detroit Tigers, and put up a 4.81 ERA in 63.2 innings pitched in 1932, his rookie year.
