Buck Buchanan (Junious Buchanan) was born on September 10, 1940 in Gainesville, Alabama. After going to high school at Parker (Birmingham, AL), Buchanan attended Grambling State University. Buchanan made his professional debut in the AFL in 1963 with the Kansas City Chiefs. He played in the AFL for 7 years, playing for the Kansas City Chiefs the entire time. Buchanan also played in the NFL for 6 years, playing for the Kansas City Chiefs the entire time.
Most people believe that 1968 was Buck Buchanan's best year.
