Bubbles Hargrave (Eugene Franklin Hargrave) was born on July 15, 1892 in New Haven, Indiana. He made his Major League debut on September 18, 1913 for the Chicago Cubs. In 1921, his rookie year, he hit .289 with 1 home run and 38 RBI. Hargrave played for the Chicago Cubs, Cincinnati Reds and New York Yankees over the course of his 12 year career.

Most people believe that Bubbles Hargrave's best season was 1923, when he hit for a .333 average and knocked in 78 runs.
