Bruno Block (James John Block) was born on March 13, 1885 in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. He made his Major League debut on August 5, 1907 for the Washington Senators. In 1910, his rookie year, he hit .211 with 0 home runs and 9 RBI. Block played for the Washington Senators, Chicago White Sox and Chicago Whales over the course of his 5 year career.
