Bruce Mathison (Bruce Martin Mathison) was born on April 25, 1959 in Superior, Wisconsin. After going to high school at Superior (WI), Mathison attended the University of Nebraska. Mathison made his professional debut in the NFL in 1983 with the San Diego Chargers. He played for the San Diego Chargers, Seattle Seahawks and Buffalo Bills over the course of his 5 year career.

Most people believe that 1985 was Bruce Mathison's best year.
