Bruce Boisclair (Bruce Armand Boisclair) was born on December 9, 1952 in Putnam, Connecticut. He made his Major League debut on September 11, 1974 for the New York Mets. In 1976, his rookie year, he hit .287 with 2 home runs and 13 RBI. Boisclair played for the New York Mets for his entire 5 year career.

Most people believe that Bruce Boisclair's best season was 1977, when he hit for a .293 average.
