Browns Heading in the Wright Direction

No, were not talking about Eric Wright, were talking about Jason Wright. He’s part of the reason these Brownies are .500 in the bye week. Usually by this point in the season, Clevelanders have moved their focus to LeBron and the Cavaliers. But hold on to your Yankees hats folks, because the Cleveland Browns are thinking playoffs. Jason Wright has been a good fill in for an injured Jamal Lewis. In each of the last two games he’s rushed for 59 yards, and 1 TD run in each game. Now that’s not great, but not bad either, having a guy you can depend on to get the ball past the line of scrimmage down after down (Wright’s averaging 4.1 yards a carry) really takes the pressure of a young QB like Derek Anderson. The Browns have something they’ve never had since coming back to Cleveland in 1999, its not Brady Quinn, its not Jamal Lewis, its confidence, the single most important thing any NFL team can have-young or old. "We definitely feel we can make the playoffs, said Braylon Edwards. Edwards has just been outstanding, and not to mention a fantasy owners dream (so glad I have him.) He’s averaging 92 yards a game, he has 7 TD receptions this season, and 552 total yards. "It's not just that playoff feel, but we're doing things the right way right now and we're not taking steps backward, that comes from Jamal Lewis, a man who has been there before, and thinks we can get back.

Indeed, Wright's been very good for the Browns, it's helped us continue to roll. I'm a little disappointed becuase I have the opportunity to meet him tomorrow but I can't make it to where he is :(

I think the Browns would be a solid playoff team in the NFC. The AFC is just more talented therefore I think they will be edged out later in the season.
