Bret Boone (Bret Robert Boone) was born on April 6, 1969 in El Cajon, California. He made his Major League debut on August 19, 1992 for the Seattle Mariners. In 1993, his rookie year, he hit .251 with 12 home runs and 38 RBI. Boone played for the Seattle Mariners, Cincinnati Reds, Atlanta Braves, San Diego Padres and Minnesota Twins over the course of his 14 year career.

There is some disagreement on what was Bret Boone's most productive season. Some believe that it was 2001, when he slugged 37 home runs, hit for a .331 average and knocked in 141 runs. However, others believe that it was 2003, when he slugged 35 home runs, hit for a .294 average and knocked in 117 runs.
