You think that the Jets defense had a tough time before? How about if star linebacker Jonathan Vilma is out due to a knee injury? According to nfl.com, the knee injury that caused Vilma to miss a key stretch in last Sunday's game is likely out for this week and maybe longer. There are conflicting reports as to length of time, some stating he might be out the rest of the season after having surgery. The Jets and coach Mangini are keeping close to the vest as usual, not even revealing which knee the injury was sustained on. If Vilma can't go, rookie David Harris will take his spot on the starting lineup.
