Brad Van Pelt (Brad Alan Van Pelt) was born on April 5, 1951 in Owosso, Michigan. After going to high school at Owosso (MI), Van Pelt attended Michigan State University. Van Pelt made his professional debut in the NFL in 1973 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants, Los Angeles Raiders and Cleveland Browns over the course of his 14 year career.
Most people believe that 1985 was Brad Van Pelt's best year, as he recorded 5 sacks.
