Brad Shearer (Sterling Bradford Shearer) was born on August 10, 1955 in Houston, Texas. After going to high school at Westlake (Austin, TX), Shearer attended the University of Texas. Shearer made his professional debut in the NFL in 1978 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears for his entire 3 year career.
