Brad Benson (Bradley William Benson) was born on November 25, 1955 in Altoona, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Altoona (PA), Benson attended Pennsylvania State University. Benson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1978 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants for his entire 11 year career.
