Boston, We have a Problem

The Patriots are going down. After yesterday's loss against the Jets, the Patriots now only hold a 1 game lead in the division. It was the first time in 37 games the Patriots lost 2 straight. I could see if they lost in a crazy ending, but they lost pretty badly to the FREAKIN JETS. Maroney was off this week, not getting 100 yards like some projected.

There was also a bit of a locker room shake up this week. Some local writers in boston had said that the pats should move on from Corey Dillon, and begin the Laurence Maroney era. Dillon took harshly to this, and threatened a Boston Herald Reporter.

Is this just me overreacting, or is this a serious problem

Calm down, it'll be alright. The Pats will still win the AFC East, and will be fine come January. Maroney won't become the full-time starter, because Belichick knows these two are most effective when they're complimenting each other. I think we can wait until next year to see Maroney run the show himself. Every team goes on a skid from time to time... they just have to realize they're still a great team and get back to winning football games.

A skid is a skid, but they are 1-2 vs probable playoff teams this year, and I heard on one of last weeks PFW in Progresses, the pats podcast, they have a loosing record against premier AFC teams in the past two years. Also, look at the probable playoff picture in the AFC; Denver, Indy, Cincinnati, San Deigo, Baltimore and the Pats, and in the past two years, including playoffs, they are 1-4 against them.

All boston sport teams are evil, all boston fans are bitter.
