Booker Russell (Booker Taylor Russell) was born on February 28, 1956 in Belton, Texas. After going to high school at Belton (TX), Russell attended Southwest Texas State University. Russell made his professional debut in the NFL in 1978 with the Oakland Raiders. He played for the Oakland Raiders, Philadelphia Eagles and San Diego Chargers over the course of his 4 year career.
Most people believe that 1979 was Booker Russell's best year, as he ran in 4 TDs.
