Bobby Klaus (Robert Francis Klaus) was born on December 27, 1937 in Spring Grove, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on April 21, 1964 for the New York Mets. In 1964, his rookie year, he hit .225 with 4 home runs and 17 RBI. Klaus played for the New York Mets and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 2 year career.
