Bobby Bonilla (Roberto Martin Antonio Bonilla) was born on February 23, 1963 in Bronx, New York. He made his Major League debut on April 9, 1986 for the Pittsburgh Pirates. In 1986, his rookie year, he hit .256 with 3 home runs and 43 RBI. Bonilla played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Chicago White Sox, New York Mets, Baltimore Orioles, Florida Marlins, Los Angeles Dodgers, Atlanta Braves and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 16 year career.

Most people believe that Bobby Bonilla's best season was 1990, when he slugged 32 home runs, hit for a .280 average and knocked in 120 runs.
