Bobby Abreu (Bob Kelly Abreu) was born on March 11, 1974 in Maracay, Aragua (Venezuela). He made his Major League debut on September 1, 1996 for the Houston Astros. In 1997, his rookie year, he hit .250 with 3 home runs and 26 RBI. Abreu played for the Houston Astros, Philadelphia Phillies and New York Yankees over the course of his 11 year career.

Most people believe that Bobby Abreu's best season was 2004, when he slugged 30 home runs, stole 40 bases, hit for a .301 average and knocked in 105 runs.
