Bob Young (Robert Allen Young) was born on September 3, 1942 in Marshall, Texas. After going to high school at Brownwood (TX), Young attended Howard Payne University and the University of Texas. Young made his professional debut in the AFL in 1966 with the Denver Broncos. He played in the AFL for 4 years, playing for the Denver Broncos the entire time. Young also played in the NFL for 12 years, playing for the St. Louis Cardinals, Houston Oilers, New Orleans Saints and Denver Broncos over the course of his 12 year NFL career.
Most people believe that 1968 was Bob Young's best year.
