Bob Suffridge (Robert Lee Suffridge) was born on April 1, 1919 in Fountain City, Tennessee. After going to high school at Central (Knoxville, TN), Suffridge attended the University of Tennessee. Suffridge made his professional debut in the NFL in 1941 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles for his entire 2 year career.
