Bob Pfohl (Robert Stormont Pfohl) was born on May 21, 1926 in Vincennes, Indiana. After going to high school at Goshen (IN), Pfohl attended Purdue University and United States Merchant Marine Academy. Pfohl made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1948 with the Baltimore Colts. He played for the Baltimore Colts for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1948 was Bob Pfohl's best year, as he ran in 4 TDs and ran back a punt for a touchdown.
