Bob Nowaskey (Robert J. Nowaskey) was born on February 3, 1918 in Everett, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Scottsdale (PA), Nowaskey attended George Washington University. Nowaskey made his professional debut in the NFL in 1940 with the Chicago Bears. He played in the NFL for 4 years, playing for the Chicago Bears and Baltimore Colts over the course of his 4 year NFL career.Nowaskey also played in the AAFC for 4 years, playing for the Los Angeles Dons and Baltimore Colts over the course of his 4 year AAFC career.

Most people believe that 1946 was Bob Nowaskey's best year, as he ran back an interception for a touchdown.
