Bob Martyn (Robert Gordon Martyn) was born on August 15, 1930 in Weiser, Idaho. He made his Major League debut on June 18, 1957 for the Kansas City Athletics. In 1957, his rookie year, he hit .267 with 1 home run and 12 RBI. Martyn played for the Kansas City Athletics for his entire 2 year career.
