Bob Mann (Robert Mann) was born on April 8, 1924 in New Bern, North Carolina. Mann attended the University of Michigan. Mann made his professional debut in the NFL in 1948 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions over the course of his 6 year career.
Most people believe that 1949 was Bob Mann's best year, as he hauled in 66 receptions, had 1014 receiving yards and caught 4 TD passes.
