Bob Leonetti (Robert P. Leonetti) was born on January 1, 1923 in Mount Carmel, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Mount Carmel (PA), Leonetti attended Wake Forest University. Leonetti made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1948 with the Brooklyn Dodgers. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers for his entire 1 year career.
