Bob Jencks (Robert William Jencks) was born on July 15, 1941 in Columbus, Ohio. After going to high school at Upper Arlington (OH), Jencks attended Miami University of Ohio. Jencks made his professional debut in the NFL in 1963 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears and Washington Redskins over the course of his 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1963 was Bob Jencks's best year.
