Bob Hughes (Robert E. Hughes) was born on November 17, 1944 in Columbus, Mississippi. After going to high school at R.E. Hunt (Columbus, MS), Hughes attended Jackson State University and Rust College. Hughes made his professional debut in the NFL in 1967 with the Atlanta Falcons. He played for the Atlanta Falcons for his entire 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1967 was Bob Hughes's best year.
