Bob Friedlund (Robert Memler Friedlund) was born on January 6, 1920 in Galesburg, Illinois. After going to high school at Peekskill Military Academy (Peekskill, NY) and Schenetady (NY), Friedlund attended Michigan State University. Friedlund made his professional debut in the NFL in 1946 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles for his entire 1 year career.
